A modest yet lively group assembled on Father’s Day morning in August to undertake the much-anticipated Heritage Trail Planning exercise. Pre-planning session success

An enthusiastic group gathered at the Rifle Creek Campground to start the planning process for Mt Molloy’s Edible Heritage Trail. This was the first chance that Dr Wendy Seabrook of Cooktown’s Hill Top Farm had a chance to walk the trail and have a think about how it could be nudged toward a more interesting and productive ecosystem. Food and Heritage Trail Project gets funding

We’re pleased to say that the FRRR (Foundation for Rural and Regional Renewal) has approvedĀ a JAMARR funding application to help improve the amenity of the walk between the Rifle Creek Campground and the village. The idea is to improve the walking track and plant out layers of food and forage plants along the way.
