The EnviroGroup is one of JAMARR’s first and most widely supported groups. Projects undertaken and active include:
- Development of Shade House for Seedling Propagation
- Maintenance of English Park and Julatten School Plantings
- Maintenance of Babbler Hill Environmental Refuge
- Maintenance of Mount Molloy Eastern Firebreak Access Lanes
- Recovery and Vitalisation of Abbatoir Swamp Environmental Park
- BirdBox Project (with Julatten Men’s Shed)
- Sponsoring Pig-Trap developments and operation

JAMARR partners with Mareeba Shire Council to maintain and develop the Abattoir Swamp Environmental Park. The park needs a person to help coordinate working bees, visitor functions, monitoring, and ongoing funding.
